Shipping policy
Delivery
Before approving an order, the buyer will be informed of the shipping cost. The price depends on the selected delivery method. Separate shipping rates apply to international deliveries, so please contact the responsible seller for further information.
If the buyer would like the order to be delivered without being present to receive it, this may also be possible. Simply follow the instructions provided in the seller’s shop or in the product’s shipping details. If this option is selected, the risk for the goods passes to the buyer once the goods have been delivered to the requested address. The buyer should therefore inspect the goods as soon as possible and contact the seller immediately if there are visible signs of damage.
Please note that it may be difficult to prove that damage occurred before delivery if the parcel has been delivered and left unattended. We therefore strongly recommend inspecting the goods for damage in transit before acknowledging receipt.
If the goods or packaging are damaged, the buyer may refuse delivery, in which case the carrier will return the parcel. The seller must then be contacted. Alternatively, the buyer may accept the parcel and note “received with reservations” on the delivery document. The contents can then be inspected after the carrier has left. If the damage is discovered only after the parcel has been opened, the buyer must contact the seller to report the damage.
If permission is given for the goods to be left at the requested address, the buyer assumes responsibility for the goods as soon as they have been delivered to that address.
It is important to retain the packaging in case the carrier needs to inspect it at a later date. Visible defects or missing items should be reported through the claims system on the day of delivery or no later than the following day.
Unless otherwise stated, all deliveries are made to the door at ground-floor, ramp or street level. A delivery time may be stated for each product. This may refer to the dispatch time provided by the seller and is updated regularly according to the seller’s stock status. However, we always aim to deliver on time. You will be contacted if a delay occurs.
Delivery is considered complete when the carrier has delivered the goods to the stated delivery address and the buyer has received them. If the buyer has authorised the goods to be left without being present, the buyer assumes responsibility for the goods as soon as they have been delivered to the recipient’s address.
If the buyer is not present to receive the goods at the scheduled delivery time and the goods may not be left unattended, another delivery attempt will be arranged with the buyer.
